Results Driven Marketing Your Google Girls and Guys

Have you seen or heard this statement before? Can you believe how many people fall for this type of marketing. Want to know the truth? Well read on!

PHILADELPHIA, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, July 31, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — “We’re better than most, and we get companies that coveted top-spot.” Really?

Do you, can you or should you believe digital marketing agencies or internet marketing consultants that promise they can get you “TOP placement” or “the number 1 Spot” for Pay Per Click (PPC) advertised search results on Google? How about that organic 1st spot, using Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

I get calls all the time from people asking our firm to review or give advice or match an offer when a vendor has promised these top placement guarantees. We also get calls when people want to switch vendors because they are not getting promised results, and also from people wanting to switch because they did not understand what was said to them and aren’t getting expected results.

Why do people believe this type of statements?

Normally I tell everyone to hang up the phone on salespeople making outlandish guarantees like those above. However, tonight as I write on the subject, I am rethinking my standard position and my reaction to these aggressive pitches.
So, I stopped writing and devoted some serious brain power to the subject. Then I started using Bing and Google to validate or disprove what I have always believed.

Have I heard this before?

I decided to think of businesses that couldn’t or wouldn’t employ PPC advertising. I started out feeling positive that I could find a few rather easily. I tried “Forensic Dentist Philadelphia.” Nope, there were two paid advertisers. Interestingly on the forensic dentist search, the organic section showed the City of Philadelphia in the 1st and 2nd positions. Proving many SEO best practices at work. (A discussion for a future post.)

I searched on Google using the keyword “cat walker Philadelphia.” Then I tried another “best brownies Philadelphia.” I wanted three examples, so I searched “Medical Marijuana Philadelphia.” I also tested these on Bing just to validate my conclusions. Finally, I used variations like “near me” There were no businesses advertising these services, using these searches on either engine.

I Was Wrong!

If you are selling any of these products today, and you want to advertise them on Google or Bing; I could promise that I can get you the 1st paid advertised position on both search engines using these keywords. I could further tell you that I could accomplish this within 1 or 2 days.

However, can I guarantee that nobody would come along and take the top spot? Yes, if I am lucky! No, if I am honest!

Unfortunately, most cats do not like being walked, and I think most people wouldn’t pay for that service. Most people don’t need a dentist that works on dead folks. Medical Marijuana is not available for sale, yet, in Philadelphia.
So, I do not see too much potential for this business right now. The brownie business would be a good place for a smaller business to at least checkout.

However, Was I Wrong?

After thinking I would be correct, I found that technically I was wrong!

A promise can be made, but you had better dig deeper into what will be delivered. As I write this blog, I can assure that if you want to advertise your medical marijuana business in Philly, on Google and or Bing, I can be almost 100% guarantee that I can deliver.

Unfortunately, the brownies are another story; another brownie business could be having a campaign set up as we speak. If that is the case, the budget, daily spend, geographic settings and all of the other aspects of Google AdWords come into play.

If we were just talking about organic listings and SEO, the forensic dentist Philadelphia search would yield results showing The City of Philadelphia coming up first and second, which proves that promises and guarantees about positioning are at best misleading and at worst fraudulent!

How much content do you need to post and with how many keywords do you need to beat the medical director for the city? How many backlinks would you need to beat this referral source? Why it certainly can be done, but how long and what type of budget would you need to hit the top spot effectively?

Very few fields change quite as quickly as digital marketing. All it takes is one tweak to a search engine’s algorithm or a slow shift in preference regarding social media platforms and the entire industry switches up tactics.
Thus, the thinking around it and the sales strategy for it has to change, too.

If what you are hearing is something you heard a few years ago, it is past its sell-by date.
You should be presented with new ideas, interesting techniques, and unfamiliar thinking. You as agency, consultant or digital marketing professional should know better than to make promises just to get a client. When you cannot deliver will you keep that client? Do you think making false or empty promises helps the image of the industry?

The Conclusion

When buying services or expensive items for your business, take heed!

Over the years, I have learned to ask deep, delving questions. While I believe people on their face, I also know that if they have a financial interest or gain, they could exaggerate (lie, tell untruths) or whatever just to get the business.

A great man once said “trust but verify.” Do your due-diligence and ask questions when people make outlandish claims. Don’t let liars, cheaters and losers beat you and take your money. It isn’t just money; it is your time, energy and well-being! Remember, Karma does not really help you. However, it can make you feel better!

U.S. Counter-Terrorism Unit Targets Virginia Prisoner for Writing About Prison

Christopher Zoukis author and prisoner attached by U.S. Counter-Terroism Unit

Prisoner, prisoner advocate and author Christopher Zoukis has been targeted by the U.S. Counter-Terrorism Unit for his prison writing.

Three images of Christopher's Zoukis' book covers, Federal Prison Handbook, College for Convicts and Prison Education Guide

Zoukis has been targeted by the Federal Bureau of Prisons before – usually after each of his books are published.

Christopher Zoukis author

Christopher Zoukis is a prisoner rights and correctional education advocate, author and award-winning writer.

An American prisoner, prisoner advocate and author was recently targeted by the U.S. Counter-Terrorism Unit for his prison writing activities.

Instead of investigating terrorists the federal prison’s CTU seems preoccupied with finding creative ways to shut up a single prison writer who has absolutely nothing to do with terrorism.”

— Christopher Zoukis

PETERSBURG, VA, U.S., July 31, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — An American-born prisoner, prisoner advocate and author was recently targeted by the U.S. Counter-Terrorism Unit for his writing activities in a clear case of attempted censorship by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

“I’m a U.S.-born citizen with no ties to any terrorist organization, I don’t understand why I’m being targeted like this,” says Christopher Zoukis, a current inmate at FCI Petersburg Medium serving time for sexual offences he was found guilty of in 2004.

Zoukis was just recently released from six weeks of solitary confinement at Petersburg after three incident reports were taken out against him by a member of the Federal Bureau of Prison’s Counter Terrorism Unit (CTU), an intelligence agency tasked with investigating and preventing terrorist acts within U.S. borders.

Specifically, he was charged with conducting a business and unauthorized contact with the public for his involvement. The charges seem to stem from Zoukis’ involvement in a free, electronic news service for prisoners called Corrlinks.com/TRULINCS, publishing three books, running three education-based websites and an interview he did on the phone where he discussed one of his books as well as the underground economies of prisons.

“Instead of investigating terrorists and trying to foil plots, the Federal Bureau of Prison’s CTU seems to be preoccupied with finding creative ways to shut up a single prison writer who has absolutely nothing to do with terrorism,” says Zoukis. “Instead of focusing on ISIS threats or other terrorist plots, they are spending their time and taxpayer money focusing on what I post at PrisonEducation.com and the content of my latest book or interview.”

While this isn’t the first time Zoukis has been targeted for his writing activities (Zoukis has previously had seven incident reports for the same charges in 2012 and 2014 which were expunged), and it’s certainly not the first time a prisoner has undergone attack for writing about federal prisons, it is the first time the CTU has become involved.

So, what led this unit to take notice of Zoukis in the first place? In March of this year, the same official from the CTU instituted a ban on the Corrlinks.com/TRULINCS service, which was overturned in April. Shortly after that, this official contacted the Petersburg Special Investigative Services (SIS) department to get them to write incident reports against Zoukis. The Petersburg officials refused, as they had already laid those same charges previously and Zoukis was found not guilty. Just after that, the CTU official laid the charges himself. As a result, Zoukis was placed in solitary confinement for six weeks before seeing the Discipline Hearing Officer, while other prisoners were kept for one to two weeks maximum. Zoukis was found guilty of the business charges, not guilty of the other charges, and was released from solitary in mid-July. He plans on appealing the guilty charge.

The federal prison’s CTU involvement in a writer’s activities is concerning as it threatens free speech and First Amendments rights, but also that terrorism funds are being used to seemingly censor a prison writer.

Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center Now Offers an Electrician or Tradesman with Mesothelioma in Kansas Tips to Ensure They Hire One of The Nation's Top Compensation Attorneys

Our number one objective is seeing to it that people with mesothelioma in Kansas receive the very best possible financial compensation as we would like to discuss”

— Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, July 31, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "We are urging a skilled tradesman such an electrician, plumber, welder or machinist in Kansas who has recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma to call us anytime at 800-714-0303 to ensure they are talking directly to some of the nation's most skilled mesothelioma attorneys. Our number one objective is seeing to it that people with mesothelioma in Kansas receive the very best possible financial compensation as we would like to discuss." http://Kansas.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center's tips for hiring the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys for an Electrician or Skilled Tradesman in Kansas with this rare cancer

* "An electrician or skilled tradesman in Kansas could receive financial compensation that exceeds a million dollars. However, it takes the nation's most skilled and capable mesothelioma attorneys to get the best compensation. Manufacturers of products that contain asbestos will fight to prevent paying if they are not forced to.

* "Make a list of all workplaces where the diagnosed person could have been exposed to asbestos.

* "The average age for a person with mesothelioma is about 70 years old, so frequently we are talking about workplace exposures to asbestos in the 1950's to the 1980's.

* "Make a list of coworkers who could have witnessed the exposure. This type of information is vital if the person with mesothelioma wants the best possible financial compensation results.

* "Be aware that some law firms on the Internet will either tell you they are the 'nation's top mesothelioma attorneys' or they are somehow affiliated with them regardless if this is true or not.

* "Before you hire an attorney to assist with a mesothelioma compensation claim, please call us at 800-714-0303 so at a minimum we can suggest specific full-time mesothelioma attorneys who excel at financial compensation for power or electricians or skilled tradesmen with mesothelioma." http://Kansas.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center would like to emphasize theirs is a statewide initiative available to a diagnosed victim anywhere in Kansas including communities such as Wichita, Overland Park, Topeka, Olathe, and Lawrence.

For the best possible mesothelioma treatment options in Kansas the Kansas Mesothelioma Victims Center strongly recommends the following heath care facility with the offer to help a diagnosed victim, or their family get to the right physicians at this hospital. Cancer Center of Kansas Wichita, Kansas: http://www.cancercenterofkansas.com/

High-risk work groups for exposure to asbestos in Kansas include Veterans of the US Navy, power plant workers, manufacturing workers, industrial workers, aerospace workers, plumbers, electricians, welders, auto mechanics, machinists, and construction workers. Typically the exposure to asbestos occurred in the 1950’s, 1960’s, 1970’s, or 1980’s. http://Kansas.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The states indicated with the highest incidence of mesothelioma include Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisiana, Washington, and Oregon. Mesothelioma also happens in Kansas.

Unraveling the Mysteries of the Miskitu Kingdom

Xultun Glyphs

Authors wrote that the Miskito/Mosquito Indians were NOT a single people/ethnicity, but at least six ethnic groups.1589 Little or no Spanish control has been established in the region, thanks largely to Mosquito warriors chasing off any attempt…

The Article sparks historical interests of the Miskitu nation as they confront the world over the transgressions against their people through peaceful means.

In 1957, my brothers and uncles were killed by the Somoza Government. In 1960,I was given the option to be exiled permanently or face death.I left knowing I'd be of better service to my people alive.”

— Rev. Josephinie Robertson, Matriarch of the Miskitu Nation

OAKLAND, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES, July 29, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Cebu, July 29, 2017 – Few people have ever heard of the Central American nation of the Miskitu Kingdom (Miskitu Coast), nor are they aware of the severe suffering that is taking place in this region of along the Caribbean Sea.
The history of the Miskitu nation predates Christopher Columbus. Their struggle to regain their rights to exist as a nation has been drowned out with publicly disseminated false information released by many of America's most prestigious in order to quell their claims and human rights abuses. These originated with a simple papal decree issued against the New World peoples and nations. Unraveling the mysteries of the Miskitu Kingdom is as simple as looking at the facts with an open mind.
In 1502, during the third voyage of Christopher Columbus, his son Fernando described the Miskitu people as “almost Negroes in color,” while Columbus believed them to be "great sorcerers" and "very terrible." For those readers who are into Central American portraits and glyphs, one would find pictures of both black and white inhabitants of Central America found at the Xultan Palace in Belize dating back to 800 A.D. Besides the Olmec era whom display Black features in their stone monuments, there are Mayan glyphs on Chama vases depicting the rulers greeting Black personages. Furthermore, there are eyewitness accounts of seeing black people in Mesoamerica at the time of the Spanish arrival, such as what Fernando Columbus as described.
The Northern Nahuatl-speaking Indians of Aztec Mexico who accompanied the Spanish to the Moskitu kingdom referred to the Miskitu as “chontal” or “foreigner” because they were of different races than the Aztec and Mayan civilizations. They were never conquered by anyone.
Contrary to the Spanish first contact, the British, when establishing the Providence Island colony, found the Miskitu people and King quite amicable. This colony was established in the Miskitu Kingdom in the year of 1631 by English Puritans. John Pym instructed the captain of the expedition, Sussex Cammock, to venture to Cape Gracias a Dios located in the Miskitu Kingdom to "endear yourselves with the Indians and their commanders".
One English trader who visited the Miskitu Kingdom in 1699 detailed how the people lived in harmony and as equals, except during expeditions where at that time the Miskitu people submitted to their “commanders and kings”.
Contrary to mainstream media suggesting that all of the Black people of Central America were shipwrecked slaves, these “Black people” were already there at the time of Christopher Columbus. Not only were these first “Black Americans” in Mesoamerica prior to the Spanish, but these people were part of a kingdom of diverse peoples that entertained commanders and kings prior to any treaty with the British. These Black people of Central America were part of the 12 tribes that make up the Miskitu Kingdom who held various titles and positions in their government.
Maps showing the Viceroyalty of New Spain, circa 1650 identify the regions of Central America that Spain claimed, yet the Miskitu Kingdom of the Caribbean coast that stands out on those maps as being under the “strong influence” of Great Britain.
The British influence cannot be denied of having a major impact on the Miskitu Coast from the 1600’s to the beginning of the Treaty of Friendship and Alliance with the Miskitu kingdom that was signed on March 16, 1740 between King Edward I of the Miskito Nation and the British.
From that point in time on, the British used instrumentality as a method of “indirect rule” entering continuous treaties that affected the Miskitu people without their consent, even after the British relinquished their position of authority over the Miskitu nation in a treaty between Spain at the Convention of London in 1786. It is very noteworthy indeed that the British referred to the Miskitu nation as the “Country of the MOSQUITOS.” This treaty did not confer sovereignty of the Miskitu people to the dominion of Spain, but rather afforded Great Britain to “evacuate its people” in exchange for Belize.
The Spanish took this “treaty” with the British as affording their right to the conquest of the Miskitu Kingdom under the ordination of nations by the Catholic Pope’s papal decree. The Spanish did not want any direct negotiations with the Miskitu Kingdom and referred to them as savages and unable to govern themselves. Even among themselves with the strongest desire to control this region, conflicts arose after 1803 between the new nations of Colombia and Nicaragua, as well as the British “overseers” of the transition assuring both recognition of the Miskitu royal family and self-rule in their region.
During this era of time, the United States in 1823 announced to the world a new doctrine, called the “Monroe Doctrine” warning the European nations to avoid any further colonization in North and South America. The topic of serious discussion since the 1820s, in both the United States and Nicaragua was talk of the construction of a canal where Nicaragua was long a favored location
Meanwhile, the Spanish, as well as other nations such as the United States, envisioned an inter-oceanic canal running through the Miskitu Kingdom. New treaties during the 1800’s were signed between Nicaragua and Great Britain regarding the future of Miskitu Kingdom, as well as treaties between the United States and Great Britain regarding this very same region and America’s vision of an inter-oceanic canal known as the Clayton-Bulwer Treaty of 1850 that assured United States dominion over any canal built.

Minnesota Mesothelioma Victims Center Now Offers a Plumber or Trades Worker with Mesothelioma in Minnesota Tips to Ensure They Hire the Most Qualified Lawyers for Compensation

We are talking potentially about hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional compensation or more because the attorneys actually-knew what they were doing”

— Minnesota Mesothelioma Victims Center

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, July 27, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Minnesota Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "In our experience people who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma in Minnesota do not spend enough time or effort into making certain they really do hire one of nation's most skilled mesothelioma attorneys. Frequently they act impulsively when it comes to hiring a lawyer. This can have disastrous results when it comes to mesothelioma compensation as we would like to explain anytime at 800-714-0303. http://Minnesota.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

“It might come as a surprise, but literally in most instances the very best mesothelioma attorneys in the United States will not only want to talk to a person with mesothelioma in Minnesota about their potential compensation-more often than not they will take on the person's case and work it-especially if the diagnosed person is a plumber or skilled trades worker. http://Minnesota.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

According to the Minnesota Mesothelioma Victims Center, "Our vital compensation tip is – if you can have one of the nation's most skilled and experienced mesothelioma attorneys or a team of this caliber of attorneys handling your financial compensation claim in a state like Minnesota, the chances for the best possible financial compensation results improve dramatically. When we say the best possible financial compensation settlement we are talking potentially about hundreds of thousands of dollars in additional compensation or more because the attorneys actually-knew what they were doing.

"It is specific information about how or where a person with mesothelioma was exposed to asbestos that makes a mesothelioma compensation claim potentially so valuable. Further, it is very likely a plumber or skilled trades worker with mesothelioma in Minnesota might have had exposure to asbestos in neighboring states such as North Dakota, Wisconsin or Iowa. Asbestos exposure in additional states can dramatically increase mesothelioma compensation. Please do not gamble when it comes to mesothelioma compensation in Minnesota. Before you hire a lawyer to assist with a mesothelioma compensation claim please call us at 800-714-0303."

Hear more from Richard at SMi’s 23rd Annual conference on Pharmaceutical Pricing and Market Access where he will be providing hands on training in a pre-conference interactive workshop on using real world evidence (RWE).

The workshop co-hosted with Janice Haigh, VP Pricing & Market Access; and Oliver Leatham, Vice President, Global Head of Pricing & Market Access, will explore RWE as a tool to fill the evidentiary gap between regulators and payers and in turn, obtain faster reimbursement. It will address challenges in how data is collected, analysed and utilized in payer decision-making and also include presentations from HTA payer bodies to provide their perspective on how RWE can be best utilized to meet common industry hurdles.

In the run up to the show, SMi Group caught with Richard to discuss industry developments and his upcoming presentation. From the answers provided, it is apparent that a number of challenges still remain for the industry to achieve efficient reimbursement and for patients to gain access to affordable medication.

“Payers are demanding increasingly robust evidence packages to justify price premiums whilst regulators are introducing expedited programs that lower the evidence benchmark for approval, making pricing assessments challenging.”

“Appropriate pricing and reimbursement of new transformational medicines approved under expedited regulatory pathways where data indicates the potential for dramatic patient benefits but where considerable uncertainty remains will necessitate increasing utilisation of alternative reimbursement mechanisms. In the future, there will an increasing move from traditional forms of reimbursement towards a greater acceptance and utilisation of such innovative contracting arrangements, including performance-based reimbursement, indication-specific pricing, dynamic pricing, and leasing.”

The full interview is available to read in the event download centre.

SMi’s 23rd annual conference on Pharmaceutical Pricing & Market Access will take place on 11th & 12th October at the Holiday Inn Kensington Forum in London, UK.
