Using Your Credit Card To Boost Your Credit Score.

Having a high credit score can translate to a lot of good benefits: lower auto rates, lower mortgage rates, and other perks.

You should make it your goal to use less than 10% of the credit that is available to you at any one time. This is because 30% of your credit score is determined by a factor called credit utilization.”

— Patrick Mansfield

HOUSTON, UNITED STATES, March 3, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Having a high credit score can translate to a lot of good benefits: lower auto rates, lower mortgage rates, being offered the best rewards credit cards, and other perks. As a result, it should be the goal of every individual to raise their score as much as is possible as quickly as possible.

Using a credit card is probably the easiest way to raise your credit score over time, and in this article we are going to look at how to do just that.

Pay On Time, Every Time

Clocking in at 35% of your total credit score, payment history is the single most important factor for determining your score.

If you have never had credit before, this means that you will need to establish a good record of paying some sort of credit bill regularly. For those who are afraid to use credit, start by putting your gas purchases onto a credit card and then paying them off on time each month.

Don't Spend Too Much on Your Card(s)

When you apply for a credit card, the issuer will give you a credit "limit" based on your credit history and income. This is the amount of money that you are allowed to access via credit.

However, you should make it your goal to use less than 10% of the credit that is available to you at any one time. This is because 30% of your credit score is determined by a factor called "credit utilization".

Credit utilization is a number that measures how much credit you are using versus how much is actually available to you. The higher the number, the greater of a credit risk that you become in the eyes of lenders. As a result, it is best to keep your ratio beneath 10% from month to month, and the closer that you can get it to 0% the better.

Never Close Accounts

Often, individuals make the mistake of closing their accounts simply because they don't want them anymore. This can harm your credit score because it reduces your amount of available credit history available for lenders to review. Credit history is the third largest factor of determining your credit score, and it makes up 15% of the total.

TIP: If Your Need To Close An Account Try And Close The Most Recent Account.

The only exception for why you might reasonably close an account would be if that card issuer charges a high annual fee. However, before closing the account you should attempt to call the credit card company to get the annual fee waived.

Since it is more difficult to gain a new customer than to keep an old one, credit card companies are often willing to waive these annual fees to keep your business.

Think Wisely Before You Apply for New Credit

While the credit card offers that exist these days can be highly tempting, make sure that you don't apply for various credit cards quickly. Every time that you apply for a credit card, a "hard pull" is made on your credit report by the lender.

If you have more than two hard pulls on your credit report every year, it makes you look like you are desperate for credit and this can hurt your score. That is why the number of hard pulls on your report actually makes up 10% of your score.

So, before you apply for any new credit, you will want to consider these two things:

1. How likely are you to be approved? You don't want to waste a hard pull on a card that you may not be approved for.

2. Have you applied for too much credit lately? If so, you may want to reconsider applying now and wait for a few months.

Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center Now Offers Urges a Diagnosed Energy Worker or Veteran in Maine To Call Them for Instant Access to The Nation's Top Compensation Lawyers

If you want the best possible mesothelioma financial compensation you will need to have the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys working on your claim”

— Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, March 3, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "We are urging a public utility worker an energy company employee or a US Navy Veteran with mesothelioma in Maine to call us anytime at 800-714-0303 for on the spot access to the nation's most skilled and experienced mesothelioma attorneys.

"The reason we place such a huge emphasis on people with mesothelioma in Maine having instant access the nation's most skilled mesothelioma attorneys is simple-the more qualified and experienced the attorney the better the mesothelioma compensation for the diagnosed person. This is especially true if we are talking about a energy worker, a public utility worker or a Navy Veteran in Maine with mesothelioma." http://Maine.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The reason the Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center mentions Navy Veterans so often in their news releases is because especially Veterans can learn a skill or a trade in the navy that they can use in the private sector, or for a utility company or energy company. The Center is referring to electrical, plumbing, heating/AC, pipefitters, insulators, or machinists. Typically, what happens is the Veteran is initially exposed to asbestos in the navy, they are re-exposed in a workplace such as a power plant, public utility or as a skilled trades person and then a few of these types of people will develop mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is caused by exposure to asbestos.

For more information please call the Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center anytime at 800-714-0303. http://Maine.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

Vital Compensation Tip for a person/Veteran who has been diagnosed with mesothelioma in Maine from the Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center: "Before you hire a lawyer/law firm to assist with a mesothelioma compensation claim please call us at 800-714-0303 and compare who we consider to be the nation’s best mesothelioma attorneys to anyone else. If you want the best possible mesothelioma financial compensation you will need to have the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys working on your claim." http://Maine.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com

The Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center would like to emphasize theirs is a statewide initiative available to a diagnosed victim anywhere in Maine including communities such as Bangor, Lewiston, Portland, Brunswick, Saco, Sullivan, Milltown, Bath, or Biddeford.

For the best possible treatment options in Maine the Maine Mesothelioma Victims Center strongly recommends the following heath care facility with the offer to help a diagnosed victim, or their family get to the right physicians at this hospital:

* The Maine Medical Cancer Institute: http://www.mmc.org/cancer-institute

The average age for a diagnosed victim of mesothelioma is about 72 years old. This year between 2500, and 3000 US citizens will be diagnosed with mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a rare form of cancer that is attributable to exposure to asbestos.

The states indicated with the highest incidence of mesothelioma include Maine, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, Michigan, Illinois, Minnesota, Louisiana, Washington, and Oregon.

Sex crimes against disabled covered-up as Cuomo focuses on bomb threats

Jonathan Carey “Champion for the Disabled” Born September 12,1993 Killed by caregivers on February 15,2007

Gov. Cuomo refuses to take basic emergency actions to stop preventable sexual assault crimes and the ongoing cover-ups within his agencies

Why is it stated by the governor that threats are “intolerable for us”, but rapes and criminally negligent deaths of people with disabilities and the cover-up of most of these crimes are tolerable? ”

— Michael Carey

DELMAR, NEW YORK, UNITED STATES, March 2, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — Gov. Cuomo refuses to take basic emergency actions to stop preventable sexual assault crimes and the ongoing cover-ups within his agencies

The hypocrisy cannot be any clearer, the safety and lives of people with disabilities are ignored as others that thankfully have not been harmed are brought to the forefront. New Yorkers with disabilities are treated as undesirables even after being victims of actual sex crimes that tragically are occurring in staggering scope. Hundreds of thousands of people with disabilities in New York State living in residential care facilities and group homes continue to be denied immediate emergency 911 medical and police services. Astronomical numbers of real reported sexual assault crimes, as well as physical assault crimes and criminally negligent deaths of some of our most vulnerable people in society continue within the agencies operated under Governor Cuomo’s authority. At the very same time the governor is trying to garner media attention surrounding bomb threats where no one has been physically harmed; over 250 calls a day go into his abuse hotline for the disabled. The Albany Times Union story titled, Cuomo promises justice in JCC bomb threats http://www.timesunion.com/local/article/After-bomb-threats-Albany-JCC-gets-visit-from-10967856.php proves the dual standards by Governor Cuomo which are completely unacceptable. In this story the governor is quoted, "These are threats against children," Cuomo said during a visit Wednesday to the Sidney Albert Albany Jewish Community Center, which was twice targeted with bomb threats in January.” The question is, what about children with disabilities in grave danger every day within New York States extremely dangerous and deadly mental health care system? It is then stated, “There is "nothing worse" than threats that ultimately unnerve children, Cuomo said.” This statement is quite frankly unbelievable because everyone knows that it is far worse for a disabled child to actually be molested over and over again, than any threat. This horrific story about a New York State employee within Cuomo’s agency caring for the developmentally disabled who said where he worked was “a predators dream” proves this http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/new-york-pay-3m-family-boy-molested-group-home-article-1.2977392
New York State’s system is made up of thousands of State run and privately operated facilities and group homes and the rampant sexual abuse in these facilities can easily be dramatically reduced, but not if basic prevention measures continue to be ignored by Governor Cuomo. The award winning New York Times “Abused & Used” investigative reporting series which was a runner up for a Pulitzer Prize, exposed New York State’s extremely dangerous and deadly system in 2011 and nothing significant was done to stop these horrors and unsafe conditions. Governor Cuomo was already aware of the severe problems prior to becoming governor because it was brought to his attention numerous times while he was the NYS Attorney General. Cuomo had every opportunity to right many wrongs, but chose to continue to cover-up most of the damages and loss of lives instead. The very first NY Times investigative report that came out in March of 2011, two months after he became governor, details how a sexual predator was caught in the act and that he was still protected and shielded by New York State http://www.nytimes.com/2011/03/13/nyregion/13homes.html . Here is the extremely disturbing quote from this investigative report; “At a home upstate in Hudson Falls, two days before Christmas in 2006, an employee discovered her supervisor, Ricky W. Sousie, in the bedroom of a severely disabled, 54-year-old woman. Mr. Sousie, a stocky man with wispy hair, was standing between the woman’s legs. His pants were around his ankles, his hand was on her knee and her diaper was pulled down. The police were called, and semen was found on the victim. But the state did not seek to discipline Mr. Sousie. Instead, it transferred him to work at another home.” This type of evil must come out into the light and dramatic steps must be taken to prevent these horrible sex crimes and rapes of disabled boys and girls, as well as men and women whom are extremely vulnerable that cannot defend themselves. Bypassing 911 and local police is discrimination in civil rights. Bypassing 911 for the disabled is how New York State currently gets away with covering-up thousands of sex crimes and deaths annually. Why is Governor Cuomo not fighting for the rights and safety for the disabled and 911 for the disabled is the question?
The blatant double standard is obvious as Governor Cuomo also mentions in the Times Union piece regarding justice, "We are fully committed to doing justice in this case," Cuomo said. "This is intolerable for us." As an advocate for people with disabilities and someone who loves all people, how is it okay for justice in this case, yet not for justice for the disabled in thousands of cases? Why is it stated by the governor that threats are “intolerable for us”, but rapes and wrongful and criminally negligent deaths of people with disabilities and the cover-up of most of these crimes are tolerable? The hypocrisy is for all to see. I simply would say as the father of an incredible child named Jonathan, who had disabilities and was only 13 when he was killed by his New York State employed caregivers, let’s protect everyone and fight for justice for everyone, not just specific groups of people in the national spotlight.
Jonathan is one of many hundreds of innocent people with disabilities dying long before they should because of a corrupt and extremely dangerous New York State system. http://www.nytimes.com/2011/06/06/nyregion/boys-death-highlights-crisis-in-homes-for-disabled.htmlhttp://www.nytimes.com/video/nyregion/100000000849083/a-failure-to-protect.html . No longer can Governor Cuomo treat the disabled as sub-human beings or lower class citizens denying them their basic equal rights. Stand with us for “equal rights” and “civil rights” for people with disabilities in New York State and throughout our great country by signing our petition at www.jonathancareyfoundation.org. No longer can 911 be bypassed. 911 call systems must be immediately called by all mandated reporters regarding all physical and sexual abuse, gross negligence of care, significant and suspicious injuries and when a person with a disability is in medical distress or has stopped breathing. http://jonathancareyfoundation.org/donate/

New York Corporate Whistleblower Center Now Urges an Employee with Significant Proof Their New York Based Employer Has Two Sets of Books to Avoid Tax Payment to Call About Rewards

Why sit on a winning lotto ticket and never know what it could have been worth?”

— New York Corporate Whistleblower

WASHINGTON, DC, USA, March 2, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — The New York Corporate Whistleblower Center says, "We are urging a bookkeeper, accountant or employee anywhere in New York State to call us anytime at 866-714-6466 if their employer/client is keeping two sets of books to avoid paying state income or sales taxes. The reward potential for this specific types of whistleblower can be significant so long as the company's non-reporting of income/sales taxes anywhere in New York State is at least $150,000 for each of the last three or four years. New York State is the only state in the nation with an aggressive initiative to reward whistleblowers who have proof of state sales tax or income tax fraud. The state can go back ten years and potential whistleblower rewards can range between 15% to 25% of what the state recovers. http://NewYork.CorporateWhistleblower.Com

The New York Corporate Whistleblower Center Is Urging employees of companies in New York to call them anytime at 866-714-6466 if they have proof their employer is running two sets of books-one set of books that does not include cash transactions-and a second set of accounting records/books that show all transactions. http://NewYork.CorporateWhistleblower.Com

The Center is especially interested in hearing from bookkeepers or employees of the following types of companies in New York if they can prove the company is involved in significant state income tax fraud:

* A Major home improvement or remodeling contractor
* An appliance dealer
* A Restaurant or Bar
* A roofing contractor or plumbing company
* A Car dealership or auto body company
* An Adult entertainment club that warehouses cash.
* Any type of business in New York State paying their employees cash because they are illegal aliens.
* A criminal enterprise such as a drug dealer/syndicate that warehouses large quantities of cash.
* Illegal gambling operations anywhere in New York State.

"If you are an employee of any kind of business in New York State, and you can prove your employer is keeping separate records for cash and non-cash to avoid the payment of taxes. Why sit on a winning lotto ticket and never know what it could have been worth? If you possess this type of information-please call us anytime at 866-714-6466 and allow us to explore the reward potential of your information." http://NewYork.CorporateWhistleblower.Com

Simple rules for a whistleblower from the New York Corporate Whistleblower Center: Do not go to the government first if you are a potential whistleblower with substantial proof of wrongdoing. The New York Corporate Whistleblower Center says, “Major whistleblowers frequently go to the government thinking they will help. It’s a huge mistake. Do not go to the news media with your whistleblower information. Public revelation of a whistleblower’s information could destroy any prospect for a reward. Do not try to force a company/employer or individual to come clean about significant Medicare fraud, overbilling the federal government for services never rendered, multi-million-dollar state or federal tax evasion, or a New York based company falsely claiming to be a minority owned business to get preferential treatment on federal or state projects. Come to us first, tell us what type of information you have, and if we think it’s sufficient, we will help you with a focus on you getting rewarded.” http://NewYork.CorporateWhistleblower.Com

Unlike any group in the US the Corporate Whistleblower Center can assist a potential whistleblower with packaging or building out their information to potentially increase the reward potential. They will also provide the whistleblower with access to some of the most skilled whistleblower attorneys in the nation. For more information a possible whistleblower with substantial proof of wrongdoing in New York can contact the Whistleblower Center at 866-714-6466 or contact them via their website at http://NewYork.CorporateWhistleBlower.Com.

NEW YORK, NEW YORK, USA, March 1, 2017 /EINPresswire.com/ — The Massachusetts Mesothelioma Victims Center says, "We are urging the family of a US Navy Veteran, maritime worker or power plant worker who has recently been diagnosed with mesothelioma to call us anytime at 800-714-0303 so we can provide instant access to the nation's top mesothelioma attorneys who typically get the best possible compensation for their clients in Massachusetts-and they will do it for less than most of their competition.

"Many people with mesothelioma in Massachusetts get grossly overcharged by law firms. Instead of charging 33.3% of the gross settlement amount these law firms charge 40% of the settlement plus expenses. Let’s-say there is a mesothelioma settlement for a million dollars in Massachusetts. The attorneys we suggest would charge $333,000 for their fee. No additional fees for court costs or expenses.

"In this million-dollar settlement scenario the law firms charging 40% would get $400,000 and frequently tens of thousands of dollars in expenses. We want to make certain a person with mesothelioma in Massachusetts receives the best possible financial compensation and we want to make certain the person is represented by the best possible mesothelioma attorneys and if you call us at 800-714-0303 this is exactly what you will get." http://Massachusetts.MesotheliomaVictimsCenter.Com
