Hubbard Homestead Park Sports Court Opens
Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is happy to announce the new sports court at Hubbard Homestead Park is complete! We are celebrating with the community and our partners, One Roof Foundation, the philanthropic arm of the Seattle Kraken and Climate Pledge Arena, on Thursday, September 17 from 3 to 5 pm. Please join us at Hubbard Homestead Park in the Northgate neighborhood at 11203 5th Ave NE. for an afternoon of fun on the court!
Together, we will celebrate this great park improvement which provides a multi- sports court for basketball, soccer, and street hockey.
Earlier this year, SPR opened a new play area at Hubbard Homestead Park. The new play area includes an airplane play structure, that honors Mr. Hubbard who served in WWII and whose family previously owned the site prior to it becoming a park.
The addition of the play area and the sports court creates a multi-generational park with opportunities for all.
