Attorney General Hanaway Announces Harli Rhodes as Legislative Director

Today, Attorney General Catherine Hanaway announced that Harli Rhodes has joined the Attorney General’s Office to serve as Legislative Director. Harli will manage the legislative priorities of the office and work directly with legislators to advocate for policy that supports Missourians, strengthens the rule of law, and works to combat violent crime.

“We are proud to welcome Harli to the Attorney General’s Office,” said General Hanaway. “Her judgment, expertise, and collaborative approach will be indispensable as we advocate for policies that strengthen Missouri’s legal framework, protect Missouri consumers, and keep our communities safe.”

Rhodes most recently served as chief of staff to the Senate Majority Floor Leader Tony Luetkemeyer, where she directed daily office operations and advised the Majority Floor Leader. Previously, she served as policy director for the Missouri Office of Workforce Development. Rhodes has also worked as a paralegal for the City of Jefferson, a legislative assistant for the Missouri Senate, and as a legal assistant in private practice.

Beyond her operational and policy experience, Rhodes has developed a reputation for building strong partnerships, exercising strategic judgment, and demonstrating a deep commitment to public service.

Rhodes earned her Master of Public Affairs from the University of Missouri and her Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies from William Woods University.
